Nobody makes eggs like Grandma did –
Scrambled to a consistency
Of culinary perfection –
Breakfast for dinner. And a show,
Abbott and Costello coloring
A gray-scale world with timeless comedy.

Nobody tells a story like Grandma did –
Tales of tomfoolery bringing childish joy
To a face worn by countless lifetimes
Of responsibility and formality.
Laughter running deep in her visible veins
At the recollection of her juvenile ways.

Nobody loves like Grandma did –
Unconditionally and gently, watching
Her family grow with pride and admiration.
Generation after generation indebted
To her selfless life and the beautiful legacy
She planted deep in our hearts’ gardens.
